Hellfire

Hellfire Romeo Warhead

The Hellfire Romeo Main Charge (MC) warhead combines General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems’ proprietary K-charge technology with a hardened steel case to producing high performance multi-purpose warheads. This Hellfire Romeo warhead has demonstrated lethality against a variety of targets, including tanks, small boats, light armor, trucks, and personnel.

 


Javelin

Javelin Multi-Purpose Warhead (MPWH)

Javelin is a fire-and-forget missile with lock-on before launch and automatic self-guidance. The Javelin MPWH provides enhanced fragmentation over legacy Javelin warheads while maintaining lethality against heavy armor targets.


JAGM

Joint Air-to-Ground Missile (JAGM)

The Joint Air-to-Ground Missile (JAGM) system is intended to be a future replacement for the BGM-71, TOW, AGM-114 and AGM-65 Maverick Missiles. The JAGM currently uses a modified version of the Hellfire Romeo main charge warhead. General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems is currently working with the government to adapt our latest anti-armor warhead technology, to further improve the effectiveness of this system.

 


SDB II

Small Diameter Bomb II (SDB II)

Small Diameter Bomb II (SDB II) is a 250lb class bomb intended to strike mobile targets at a standoff distances in all-weather conditions. This lighter system weight (about 100lbs) combined with a highly effective multi-purpose warhead allows warfighters to engage more targets per mission. General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems designed the SDB and has been producing the warhead since 2014.

with a Single Weapon System

Advanced shaped charge warheads offer improved anti-armor performance and effectiveness against hard targets in a compact package, The compact size creates space and mass for additional weapon system or equipment. Blast fragmentation warheads use pre-formed fragments or naturally fragmenting metal cases, and are intended to engage softer targets, such as light armored vehicles and open air personnel. Combining these technologies with a specially designed hardened warhead case for penetrating structural targets, our multi-purpose warheads give warfighters the opportunity to engage multiple target types with a single weapon system.
