What Participants Say
SkillBridge with GD-OTS was a great experience. Transition out of the military is difficult enough on its own, but I felt very welcomed by the OTS team during discussions on job opportunities and especially during their support to develop the SkillBridge fellowship which led to my new career. Also, the veterans I met during the process helped coach me on where my military and leadership experience would provide great value to the company, as well as areas I should pursue to strengthen my corporate knowledge and skills as a GD employee.
Bill White, Lieutenant Colonel (Ret), U.S. Army, Senior Manager, Systems Engineer
The people at GD-OTS are what separates the company from the competition. Immediately, I was surrounded by other veterans who I could depend on for advice, feedback, and friendship. When you transition from the military, your life becomes a whirlwind of uncertainty. It was nice to relate to and lean on people who have recently navigated the same whirlwind. Completing the SkillBridge program at GD-OTS offered me a distinct advantage that not many companies could have offered. The program allowed me to focus on learning corporate knowledge, enhancing my experience knowing exactly what I was hired to do at the end of the program.
Craig Runyan, former Captain, U.S. Army, Simunition Northeastern Regional Manager
